Carbon steel coil, a versatile rolled steel product, is manufactured by reducing the thickness of hot-rolled or cold-rolled carbon steel sheets into coils. It is widely used in construction, automotive manufacturing, home appliances, and industrial equipment due to its excellent mechanical properties, processability, and cost-effectiveness. Depending on the production process, it is divided into hot-rolled carbon steel coil (HRC) and cold-rolled carbon steel coil (CRC). HRC has higher strength and toughness, suitable for structural components and pipelines, while CRC has a smoother surface, precise dimensions, and better formability, making it ideal for precision parts, automotive panels, and electrical enclosures.

Carbon steel coils adhere to various international standards, such as China's Q235, Q345, Japan's SS400, SPHC, Germany's St37-2, St52-3, and America's ASTM A36, SAE1006-1020. These grades differ in carbon content, yield strength, and elongation, catering to diverse application needs. Special grades like deep-drawing steel (DC01-DC07, SPCE) and high-strength low-alloy steel (B510L, QStE380TM) further expand their use in high-performance fields such as automotive lightweighting and heavy machinery.

We can provide following three categories carbon steel:

• Low-carbon steel with a carbon content of between 0.04% and 0.30% is the largest category of carbon steel.

Properties: High toughness; Low tensile strength; High weldability; Low cost; High ductility; Low hardness; High machinability.

• Medium carbon steel with typical carbon values between 0.31% and 0.60% and manganese content between 0.31% and 0.60%

Properties:Medium strength; Moderate toughness; Medium weldability; Medium ductility; Moderate machinability.

• High-carbon steels are often referred to as “carbon tool steels” and typically contain between 0.61% and 1.50% carbon.

Properties: High toughness; Low machinability; High strength; Moderate weldability; Low ductility.
